Native Wisdom for Mother Earth

You are invited to join the students of Queen's University course RELS-235 Religion and Environment for an afternoon symposium on Native traditions and the environment sponsored by the Canadian Forum on Religion and Ecology and the Four Directions Aboriginal Student Centre on Thursday March 3, 2:30-5:30pm.

The symposium will feature the work of Native documentary film-maker Danny Beaton. Danny Beaton will screen one of his short films and will be available for a round-table discussion featuring representatives of the Queen’s aboriginal community, and Dr James Miller, co-chair of the Canadian Forum on Religion and Ecology.

The workshop lasts from 2:30-4:30 in Queen's University John Deutsch University Centre, Wallace Hall, and is followed by a catered reception at the Four Directions Aboriginal Student Centre at 146 Barrie St from 4:30 to 5:30.
